COVID Precautions
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. It is important that both our staff and patients are comfortable in our environment. We feel that as we prepare to reopen you should be aware of the changes we have made in our office.
We follow the infection control requirements made by the American Dental Association (ADA), The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), The Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), and OSHA/WISHA.
Here are some changes that you will notice when it's time for your next appointment:
1- Our office will contact you and in addition to confirming your appointment, you will be asked to complete a pre-screening form.
2-We will ask that you wait in your car until 5 minutes before your appointment. This is to minimize patients in the waiting area.
3- We will ask you to wear your own mask into our office and immediately use the provided hand sanitizer upon entering the office.
4-You will be asked if there have been any changes to your pre-screening form and your temperature will be taken.
5- We will have plexi glass at the front desk, our staff will be dressed in scrubs and complete PPE gear when they take you to your room.
6- We ask that you follow social distancing guidelines while in our office.
Although things will feel very sterile and a little strange for us all, we would like to assure you that we are all the same people that you have formed relationships and trust in and we are looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this unknown time.
Stay Healthy,
Dr. Christian Shewey and team.
